Samantha Duff
Food stylist
About
Sam is a freelance London based food stylist and former private chef and events company owner. Her love for all things food has taken her from working in marketing on the Tesco account to going to culinary school and retraining as a chef at Leith's School of Food and Wine, achieving a distinction diploma in classical cooking and a WSET Level 2 certificate in wine.
During her training at Leiths, she created Curiouser Kitchen supper clubs with friend and colleague Charlotte Harris, which has since grown into an events company catering for exclusive celebrations and parties. Upon graduating, both chefs then went on to work at the prestigious Spring restaurant in Somerset House, with Sam spending time in both the main brigade and the pastry team.
Wanting to gain more experience with vegan and gluten free diets, she then enrolled in a plant-based course at the Plant Academy, studying under Lauren Lovatt where she achieved a certificate in Level 1 of Plant-based and gluten-free cooking.
Moving into the realm of food styling, she has been assisting the likes of Marina Filippelli, Jennifer Joyce, Rosie McKean and Jake Fenton. She has assisted on commercial projects for large brands with clients including Waitrose, M&S, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Co-op and Amazon Fresh. Sam is currently working as a food stylist, recipe tester and home ec.
